Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) measured in grams per kilogram of bodyweight (g/kg of bw):

Adult Population (18-50yrs old): .8 gram per kilogram of body weight (g/kg of bw).
Endurance Athletes: 1.2-1.4g/kg of bw.
Strength Athletes: 1.6-2.2g/kg of bw.
Adolescence (4-18yrs old): .85-.95g/kg of bw.
Seniors (50+ yrs old): 1.2g/kg of bw.
